London Stock Exchange Opening 27th March 2015

As a result of our Comenius work with UCL's (University College London's) Citrus Saturday, children from Holy Trinity were invited to open the London Stock Exchange.   Nia Addo-Quintyne was chosen to represent the school as she had come up with the idea for our school virtual company.  She is thought to be the youngest person ever to open the market.

UCL Advances, UCL's centre for entrepreneurship, is a UK partner of Aflatoun, an international organisation that promotes financial and enterprise education for children.   Aflatoun launched its UK programme that day, in collaboration with UK organisation, Empowering Kids and Youth.

The event was covered in The Times and on the BBC as well as in the local newspaper, the Camden New Journal.
